Ingredients

 

½ pound roast beef, thinly sliced

 

 

Crisp iceberg lettuce leaves

 

 

Whole grain Dijon mustard

 

 

2 slices bread

 

 

1 slice onion, separate rings, optional

 

 

 

Steps

  1. Wash lettuce leaves and allow to dry.
  2. Spread desired amount of mustard on one slice of bread.
  3. Place dried lettuce leaves on top of one slice of bread.
  4. Arrange onion, if desired, on top of lettuce leaves.
  5. Place beef slices on top of lettuce/onion.
  6. Place second layer of lettuce on top of beef.
  7. Place second slice of bread on top of lettuce.
  8. Plate.
  9. Cut as desired.
  10. Serve.
