Kidnapped White Women Believed Seen With Indians.
Captain John Bryson, leading a patrol south of the Dechutes River in Oregon, saw what appeared to be a blond woman travelling with a group of mounted Nez Perce. Captain Bryson gave chase but was unable to close on them. Mary Grange was kidnapped in a Nez Perce raid and her father has offered a two thousand dollar reward for her return.
