SAN FRANCISCO STAR
Half-Breed Goes Berserk

MONTES DE SANGRES, NEW MEXICO—A half-breed Comanche Indian today reverted to savagery, killing two men, wounding another. On being served with a notice to evict land on which he was illegally squatting, Thomas Ordey, using a shotgun loaded with heavy balls, deliberately fired upon and murdered Sheriff Joe Finnn, and Bert Ormsbey, a cowboy. Ormsbey’s employer, John Dundee, badly wounded by the same blast, says that he will see the murderer hung. Dundee is a former Texas Ranger and Indian fighter.
